Lithuanian President: I Am Convinced That It Is Impossible To "detach" Lukashenka From Putin

The dictator of Belarus is completely dependent on the Russian Federation.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said that the United States is trying to distance Lukashenko's regime from Russia by intensifying dialog with Minsk, but this goal is hardly feasible. His words are quoted by LRT.

"I am absolutely convinced that this is impossible because the ties of dependence are so close and numerous that even if Lukashenko wanted to, he would not be able to break away from Putin. His country is completely dependent on Russia financially and economically. However, it is worth a try," Nauseda said.

Before that, Lukashenko announced the regime's talks with the US delegation.
