The two processes - the construction of the third power unit at BelAES and the study of the site in the Mogilev region - will go in parallel, said Deputy Prime Minister. "But the decision on the second stage of the BelNPP - now, yes, we will deal with it," said Viktor Karankevich.

As for the possible construction of another nuclear power plant in Belarus in the future, he explained: "In the future, the decision to be considered on the further development of nuclear power will be linked to the growth of electricity consumption."
