He repeated his claims that he had "settled eight wars."
US President Donald Trump called Russia's war against Ukraine a "bloodbath," and emphasized that the fighting should stop as soon as possible.
As "European Truth" reports, he said this in an interview with GB News.
In the course of the conversation, Trump repeated his claims that he has "settled eight wars" and "there's one more left to settle."
"I thought it would be easier because I settled some wars that lasted, in one case, 32 years. And I settled it in two days. I'm very proud of that ... The only thing I haven't done yet is Russia and Ukraine. This should never have started. It's a bloodbath. It's a terrible bloodbath," he said.
The US president said that such a large-scale war has not happened since World War II.
He also expressed confidence that the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine will end soon.
"I hope it happens soon. We put a lot of pressure on them, you know, with India and oil, and India is now getting out of it, and others are getting out of it, because since Russia is selling oil, they have money to do something. But I think we're going to do it. But it's a disgrace," Trump summarized.
Recently, Trump claimed that there was progress in resolving the Russia-Ukraine war.
He also claimed that he could bring about an end to Russia's war against Ukraine because Russia wanted to "do business" with the United States.
