Drones attacked two thermal power plants.

On the night of Tuesday, November 18, drones attacked two main thermal power plants in the occupied part of Donetsk region. Light disappeared in Donetsk and a number of other settlements, writes unian.net.

Local Telegram channels report that the Zuevskaya and Starobeshevskaya thermal power plants came under attack. Subsequently, the attack was confirmed by the so-called "head of the DNR" Denis Pushilin.

"As a result of an unprecedented attack on the 'republic's' energy system, the Zuevskaya and Starobeshevskaya TPPs have been damaged. Many settlements have been de-energized, causing boiler houses and filtering stations to stop," he said.

In the meantime, the network reports that Donetsk, Makeyevka, Ilovaisk and other settlements have been de-energized as a result of the attack. Videos showing the moments of the attacks and the fire have also emerged.
