Key Ukrainian Officials Advise Zelensky To Fire Yermak
Andriy Yermak

Budanov is among them.

Key government officials close to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the wake of a high-profile investigation into the Midas NABU are advising him to fire the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Ukrainska Pravda reported.

The material says that Zelensky held meetings with key figures from the power team over the past week to know a solution to stabilize the situation after the disclosure of an investigation into corruption in the energy sector.

Part of the meetings were documented by public reports, like conversations with Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov, GUR chief Kyrill Budanov and the like.

"As people familiar with the course of conversations at those meetings convince UP, most of those interviewed by the president gave different recommendations for overcoming the crisis, but almost all of them, without collusion, advised replacing the head of the Presidential Office Andrei Yermak," the material says.

According to a UP interlocutor among the tops of the "Servants of the People," it is easier to count the people in the Rada who would not ask for Yermak's resignation.

"It is clear that there is no direct blackmail, but if this does not happen, the faction itself will collapse," said one of the sources.

An "coalition of the resolute" has formed among the "servants," which even threatens to leave the faction if the head of the OP is not dismissed.
