US Threatens Russia With "crushing" Sanctions

"Crushing" sanctions bill against Russia in the US Congress is "just waiting for the green light". This was stated in an interview with Bloomberg by United States Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker.

He emphasized that U.S. President Donald Trump supports the initiative.

Whitaker also said that European countries should take a more aggressive stance against Russia. He said using frozen Russian assets to finance Ukraine would be a "significant step" in bolstering several years of dwindling funding economically and militarily.
