The Pakistanis Fooled Lukashenko

Residents of this country do not want to work in Belarus.

Lukashenka tried to agree with the Pakistani authorities on organizing a massive inflow of people from there to Belarus in order to close the shortage of personnel. However, judging by the statistics, Pakistanis do not want to come to our country.

In January-September, 32,381 labor migrants came to Belarus. For comparison: 33,818 of them arrived last year.

Almost half of those who joined the ranks of workers in the first nine months of this year - 14.9 thousand - are citizens of Turkmenistan. The second place is occupied by Russia, where 3,435 people arrived. Ukraine is next (2,916). Uzbekistan (2593) and China (2548) are also in the top five. From every other country less than a thousand foreigners came to work here.
