The AFU General Staff Confirmed The Defeat Of The Saratov Oil Refinery

On the night of November 3, Defense Forces units hit the Saratov oil refinery in Russia's Saratov Region. A hit was recorded and a fire broke out in the area of the complex of oil refining units ELOU AVT-6.

It was reported on Monday, November 3, in the General Staff of the AFU.

The Saratov refinery is one of the oldest oil refineries in Russia. As of 2023, the refining volume amounted to 4.8 million tons. The enterprise is involved in meeting the needs of the Russian Armed Forces, the General Staff noted.

In addition, the Ukrainian troops struck logistical facilities of the Russian occupants in the temporarily occupied territory of the Lugansk region. In particular, a logistics warehouse in the village of Roskoshnoye and a mobile fuel and lubricants warehouse in Dolzhansk were hit.

On the night of November 3, explosions occurred in the Russian city of Saratov, which local Telegram channels attributed to another drone attack. The first reports appeared around 00:50 Kiev time. According to the SHOT channel, sirens and sounds of air defense work were heard in Saratov, Engels, as well as in the Balakovo and Kalinin districts of the region.
