The SCC Admitted That Sabotage Was Launched Against Lukashenka

Local officials' hatred of the dictator is growing.

The head of the State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov reported on the progress of execution of the ruler's "cruelest order" to "put things in order by November 7."

Reference is probably to the order made after the meeting in Vitsebsk, where Lukashenko threatened officials with jail for cattle deaths and falling production:

- After today's meeting, the chairmen of district executive committees called the chief specialists and managers, gave them the cruelest talk. They gave them until November 7 - you have no more time - to put the farms in an ironclad order. They - heads and specialists - let them gather there mechanizers, milkmaids and others.

Two days before the time limit Gerasimov reported to the governor about the intermediate results of control by his department. And something suggests that Lukashenko will only have more reasons for another attack of hatred against officials.

According to the head of the SCC, although "district organizations - road builders, foresters, youth union, teachers and others - are involved," the controllers have to admit that "mostly external work is done - painting, whitewashing, removal of organic matter, garbage collection."

In other words - the good old show to distract the eyes. Moreover, having heard the "interim" report, Lukashenko demanded to pay attention to the problems of "more global nature", on which instructions were given.

And these are the issues of fodder procurement, veterinary medicine, reproduction of livestock, and cattle deaths. But here, as the chief inspector noted, the horse has not been lying yet: "Here we do not see any serious shift so far".

And it is not surprising. We have been hearing such harsh instructions to impose "iron order" in everything and everywhere for a year now. But it's still there. And even if you put teachers, medics, or Kochanova and Petkevich in line, nothing will help.
