Belarusian gasoline supplies to Russia amounted to 224.4 thousand tons in January-November 2025. Compared to last year, this figure increased by 136%.
These data is provided by RBC with reference to the report of the Center for Price Indices, noted Office Life.
For example, in November 2025, supplies of Belarusian gasoline to Russia reached the maximum value since the beginning of the year and amounted to 96 thousand tons. This is twice as much as in October and September.
- The increase in supplies is associated with a decline in motor fuel output at Russian refineries, which began to go "for scheduled maintenance," explained analysts of the center.
Reminder, this year Belarus resumed gasoline sales through the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange. As noted by Russian analysts, Belarusian gasoline has not been sold on Russian exchanges since the fall of 2024.
Since summer, Russia has seen a drop in production and shortage of gasoline in some regions. The drop in production was explained by scheduled and unscheduled repairs at refineries, which among other things are related to drone attacks. Against this background, the Russian side began to consider increasing fuel purchases from Belarus. For example, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said about the possibility to increase supplies from Belarus to 300 thousand tons per month. Tolling of oil in Belarus was considered as one of the options.
In early December, head of Lukashenko's administration Dmitry Krutoy said that "tolling oil began to be processed at our two refineries, oil products are delivered to Russia."
-something is sold on export markets, something is consumed in our country, so taking into account the implementation of this scheme, our two refineries have been reaching a sustainable rate of profit since the fourth quarter," BelTA quoted Krutoy.
