Zelensky Responds To Trump's Election Demand

Ukraine's president is "always ready".

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said that he is ready to hold presidential elections.

The Ukrainian head of state said this in comments to La Repubblica.

According to the newspaper, Zelensky was asked about the election when he was leaving a hotel in the Parioli district, where the president usually stays during visits to Rome.

"I am always ready," the Ukrainian head of state emphasized.

He also added that he trusts Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and expects her to help Ukraine.
