Europe Has Responded To Trump

Millions of EU citizens are proud of their leaders.

US President Donald Trump has called Europe a "group of decaying countries" that has "weak" leaders. European Commission spokeswoman Paula Pinho responded to him, writes Politico.

"We are very happy and grateful to have wonderful leaders, starting with the leader of this institution, European Commission President von der Leyen, of whom we are very proud, who can lead us in overcoming the many challenges the world faces," she said.

The spokeswoman also praised "many other leaders who head the 27 member states" of the European Union. Many millions of EU citizens are proud of their leaders, she said.

In an interview with Politico, Trump said Europe's presidents and prime ministers "don't know what to do." He criticized Europe for poor governance and failure to regulate migration.
