Goryunov SG-43 machine gun on an anti-aircraft machine was spotted on the frontline in Ukraine. The photo of the rapid-fire rarity was noticed by the Telegram channel "Military Informant".

The photo shows an SG-43 on a machine gun designed by Vasily Degtyarev, which is switched to the anti-aircraft firing position. It can be assumed that the weapon is used to combat low-flying drones.

The basic SG-43 was adopted in 1943, and two years later a modernized version of the machine gun appeared. The weapon was produced until the late 1960s.
