A fire broke out after the strikes.
On February 11, the Ukrainian forces launched a massive drone attack on Russia: explosions were heard in several regions at once, including Saratov. There is a powerful oil refinery there, which, among other things, produces aviation kerosene — fuel for aircraft. The Focus collected information about the night attack on this enterprise.
An air raid alert was declared in the Saratov region: local channels disseminated information about the movement of drones.
Soon, public groups reported the sounds of air defence and loud explosions in different areas of the region, in particular near the oil refinery. After the explosions, a large-scale fire began there, the Russians reported "damage to an industrial enterprise", but have not yet specified which enterprise they are talking about.
"The air defence forces destroyed the UAV. There is damage at an industrial plant in Saratov. Emergency services are working in places where debris may fall," the local Telegram channel writes.
The Russians also write that there are no casualties as a result of the attack.
There is no official information from Ukrainian sources about the plant being damaged yet.
