Vance To Meet With Zelensky

The meeting between the US Vice President and the Ukrainian leader will take place during the Munich conference.

US Vice President J.D. Vance will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the Munich Security Conference. This is reported by Euronews on Thursday, 13 February.

They are expected to discuss together with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio the calls of US President Donald Trump to Ukraine and Russia to start negotiations, the material says.

‘The Trump administration has made it clear that it cares deeply about Europe. But we also want to make sure that we are committed to a security partnership that benefits both Europe and the United States,’ Vance said at a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

The 61st Munich Security Conference will be held in Munich from 14 to 16 February. This year Ukraine's delegation to the Munich conference will be headed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Marco Rubio said that the main topic at the Munich conference, particularly for the US delegation, would be Russia's war against Ukraine.
