Seven Explosions: Drones Attack Ilsk Refinery In Krasnodar Region

A fire began.

On the night of Monday, 17 February, explosions occurred in Krasnodar region. Russian Telegram channels reported a drone attack and a fire at the Ilsk refinery, New Voice writes.

According to the Russian Shot Telegram channel, debris from one of the drones allegedly fell near the village of Severskaya not far from the refinery, causing a fire.

Locals counted seven explosions.

At the same time, the Mash Telegram channel reports that explosions were heard in Kavkazsky district and Slavyansk-on-Kuban.

The Ilsk refinery was commissioned in 2001. Currently, the plant employs about 900 people. The refinery receives, stores and processes hydrocarbon raw materials. Finished products are shipped both by road and railway transport. Five oil refining units are in operation at the enterprise, providing a total capacity of up to 3 million tonnes of oil per year.
