Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova said that the Ukrainian side held a meeting with Trump's special envoy for the Russian-Ukrainian war, Keith Kellogg. The parties held a ‘thorough discussion’.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Facebook-page of the Ukrainian Ambassador.
According to Markarova, this will not be their first meeting, but the first since General Keith Kellogg was officially appointed to the post of special representative. The appointment took place on Monday, 3 February.
‘This will not be our first meeting with General Keith Kellogg, but the first in his official status as Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, to which he was appointed by President Trump on 3 February. We had a thorough discussion with the special envoy and his team and my colleagues - the head of WAT (Office of Defence Attaché - ed.) General Kremenetsky and Deputy Denis Senik,’ the statement reads.
Kellogg's Visit to Kyiv
We remind you, according to sources of RBC-Ukraine in the Office of the President, the special representative of the US President for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg plans to come to Ukraine on 20 February. His visit is scheduled to take place after the Munich Security Conference, which will be held from 14 to 16 February.
