Orlen CEO: Central Europe Has Been Freed From Russian Oil

Polish oil refinery stops purchases from Russia.

Polish refiner Orlen will not buy Russian oil for its Czech refinery after June 30.

The company's CEO Ireneusz Fafara said this, Reuters reported.

The contract with Rosneft to supply Russian crude to the Litvinov refinery in the Czech Republic was the latest to link Orlen with Russian oil,

"Today we have freed Central Europe from Russian oil," Fafara told a news conference.
