Cadets Of The Russian Airborne VDV School Killed Their Commander

They tied the slings of his parachute.

Cadets of the Ryazan Higher School of Airborne Troops named after General V.P. Margelov killed their commander by tying the slings of his parachute. As a result, he crashed, writes Telegram channel "VChK-OGPU" close to the Russian security forces.

On June 3, 2025, during training jumps, the deputy platoon commander of the Ryazan school, Sergeant Selin I.A. It was found that the slings of the main and reserve parachutes were tied by someone with sections of rope from the cargo parachute in such a way as to prevent the domes of the parachutes from opening.

Two days later, cadet Kazantsev I.V.

After two days in the crime suddenly confessed and took all the blame on himself Kazantsev I.V.

According to the decision to institute criminal proceedings, during the service Selin, "taking advantage of his official position, systematically humiliated other cadets, including Kazantsev. He used foul language, physical and psychological pressure, including against those who did not follow his personal instructions. Kazantsev was repeatedly confronted with such actions by Selin. He decided to retaliate by "causing Selin's death".

It appears, however, that he was only the perpetrator (traces of other DNA were found on the parachute, but they could not be identified), and that he may have been assisted in organizing the murder by his fellow soldiers, led by Warrant Officer Seleznev V.D.

It was established that they were all dissatisfied with their military service under the new command of Sergeant Selin. Shortly before the tragedy Seleznev was removed from the post of deputy platoon commander on Selin's initiative, which could have been the cause of the conflict.

Witnesses claim that in addition to the murder of Sergeant Selin, several parachutes of the company commander of these cadets were similarly put out of action "for the kill", but by luck he did not jump on that ill-fated day.

According to a source of the VChK-OGPU, this fact of the attempted murder of the company commander was concealed by officials of the school headed by Colonel Oleg Ponomarev, who, incidentally, had previously been involved in the death of paratroopers in the collapse of a barracks in Omsk.

And the father of cadet Seleznev is a high-ranking officer with the rank of general, the channel writes.

As a result, the investigation with difficulty and under great pressure settled on the version that Private Kazantsev alone decided to kill his commander Selin (a veteran of the so-called SVO) because of personal animosity, as well as in order to protect other cadets, with whose immoral behavior and indiscipline Sergeant Selin directly fought, the publication writes.
