A Drone Crashed During A Worship Service At The Budslav Festival

It's a miracle no one was killed.

Pilgrims told about the incident at the festival in the Catholic National Sanctuary in Budslav, where a mass celebration was held on July 4-5.

On Friday evening, during the service of the Way of the Cross on the street in front of the church, a large quadrocopter fell near people, writes katolik.life.

The drone fell in the place that was in the course of the procession. But it happened at a moment when participants in the service paused to reflect - so the drone miraculously didn't hit anyone.

"If people hadn't stopped, the drone could have seriously injured several people. It was huge, black. It fell from a height of a couple of meters from people and crashed," said an eyewitness.

It was probably a professional drone, from which one of the state TV channels was filming.
