Trump Has Revealed Details Of His Talks With Putin

Many issues were discussed.

U.S. President Donald Trump said that at a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin many issues were discussed in which the United States and Russia came to an agreement.

Trump said this in an interview with a Fox News journalist, RBC Ukraine reported.

The journalist asked Trump whether the peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine would include territory swaps, security guarantees and the like.

"That's what we talked about, and we agreed on a lot of things," Trump said.

At the same time, the reporter recalled that Trump had talked about "one important issue" on which there was no agreement, and asked if Trump would be willing to voice that issue.

"No, I wouldn't want to. I think somebody is going to publicize it. Maybe somebody else will, but I would prefer to try to resolve it first. I want to see if we can do that. You know, it's not a finalized agreement at all. And Ukraine has to agree. President Zelensky has to agree," Trump said.

It's worth noting that in this interview, Trump said he discussed both territories and guarantees for Ukraine with Putin. Although the day before, Trump had assured European leaders that he would not discuss territories at his meeting with Putin and demanded his talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
