Poland has put its aviation in the sky because of Russian drones over Ukraine. This happened on Saturday evening, September 13,
It was reported by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces in the social network X .
"Attention, due to the threat of drone strikes in the regions of Ukraine bordering the Republic of Poland, military aviation operations have been launched in our airspace," the publication said.
The command noted that all procedures have been launched to ensure safety. In particular, Polish and allied aircraft are operating in the country's airspace, while ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems are on high alert.

"These actions are preventive in nature and are aimed at ensuring airspace safety and protecting citizens, especially in areas adjacent to the danger zone," the post said.
Rezuming in the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces added that they are monitoring the current situation and subordinate forces and means are in full readiness for an immediate response.
In the meantime, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk also confirmed that due to Russian drones near Poland, preventive operations by Polish and allied aviation have been launched in the country.
"Ground-based air defense forces have been put on high alert," he wrote.
It should be noted that this afternoon drones of the Russian occupiers were recorded in a number of western regions of Ukraine, resulting in an alert. As of now, the alert continues in Volyn region.
In addition, now a number of monitoring channels write that a Russian drone flew into the territory of Romania. However, there is no official confirmation of this.
