The 39-year-old Maria Poznyak, who held the position of the head of the PR-group of MTS company until 2024, was tried for participation in the protests. Information about this was published on September 5 by a pro-government Telegram channel, writes "Zerkalo".

The post, which was published by the resource, matches Maria's first name, last name, patronymic, and date of birth. It is reported that she was tried under the "people's" article: part 1 of article 342 ("Active participation in group actions, grossly violating public order").

The sentence was announced by "Kastrychnitski district court of Minsk." It is unknown what punishment was imposed. Maria last updated social networks in early August.

Maria Pazniak was the head of the PR-group of the MTS company until 2024. Then she worked as a senior marketing manager at Kaspersky BLR.
