Gunshots Rang Out Outside The White House In The US

The building is surrounded by SWAT teams.

Several dozen shots rang out in Washington, D.C., near the White House. Law enforcers stopped a man who approached the residence of US President Donald Trump with a gun and started shooting towards the building.

It was reported by Clash Report.

Secret Service agents returned fire, neutralizing the attacker. He was reportedly hospitalized with injuries.

A civilian was also wounded during the shooting. Several officers were medically evaluated at the scene, but none of them were hospitalized.

Authorities say the suspect never breached the White House perimeter.

With regard to Donald Trump's condition, the White House said the U.S. president is safe.

Updated: US media reports that the attacker was killed in a shootout with Secret Service agents.
