What the impact site looks like.
The Kvadrat shopping and entertainment center was almost completely destroyed and the Lukyanivsky market was damaged after a massive Russian Federation attack in Kiev's Shevchenkivskyi district. As a result of the strike, large-scale fires broke out, trading pavilions and cars burned out, and rescuers spent several hours eliminating the consequences of the shelling. As of now it is known about 21 victims, among them a 15-year-old boy. One person died, writes OBOZ.UA.
The blast wave also damaged neighboring buildings, food establishments and commercial premises - utility workers have already started to cover the knocked out shop windows with OSB plates. The consequences of the attack were reported in the State Emergency Service.

The released footage shows that the multi-storey building of the shopping mall was critically damaged: the facade was burned, the windows were completely knocked out, and the inside of the building was destroyed. Dense smoke is rising above the building, and the area around the building is strewn with debris of concrete, glass and metal.
The McDonald's restaurant near the impact site was also damaged - the glass above the entrance was broken and the sidewalk was covered with debris. Another video shows a burned-out car near the shopping center.
The Lukyanivsky market was also seriously damaged. A fire broke out inside the trading pavilions: metal structures were mangled by fire, and puffs of smoke and sunlight pierced through the destroyed roof. Rescuers worked inside the smoke-filled premises, extinguishing the flames.
In addition, facades and storefronts of other buildings were damaged in the area of impact. Part of the area has been fenced off with signaling tape, and utilities are cleaning up the aftermath of the attack and covering broken windows.
