Speaking as a British Citizen, Britain should be doing more. When the war started, fuel prices went up and Sunak (as chancellor) responded to the price rise by cutting the tax on fuel so it wouldn't hurt so much. My opinion was that it should have stayed the same and the extra revenue raised added to the fund for Ukraine.

We've been a bit slow to accept Ukrainian refugees and there is a lot of discontent locally for the 'invasion' of foreigners but these people are in the minority (and TBH should be sent to Russia to live)..

Due to stupid politics, we dumped Boris Johnson and I think that more would have been done had he still been PM.

Hopefully, this announcement will mean that more will get done to help Ukraine from GB. Some of us here do appreciate the effort that the Ukrainians are putting in for us.
