Spontaneous demonstration in shopping center «Parking»

The decree 8, which allegedly makes easier registration of market participants, doesn’t’ solve the problems of entrepreneurs. It was adopted to reduce tension among entrepreneurs. The participants of the spontaneous demonstration in the Minsk shopping center “Parking” said it, BelaPAN reports.

Entrepreneurs think, the most important thing the authorities could do is to cancel article 1.1 of the decree 760, which bans entrepreneurs to employ people, who are not close relatives from 1 January, 2008.

“But there are no individual entrepreneurs in the parliament. The authorities don’t hear us,” entrepreneur Iryna noted at the demonstration. By the way, entrepreneurs are afraid to say their names in the existing situation.

According to her, “if entrepreneurs took more active part in similar events, the authorities might hear us and undertake something.”

In the entrepreneur’s view, “the people are scared.” “We are all on the hook. Somebody has taken out a loan, somebody afraids to be deprived a licence,” she said.
