Activists of the “European Belarus” civil campaign decided to help the KGB with investigation of bomb explosion in Minsk. Some young people carried a big sack to the KGB office on Independence Avenue in Minsk.
The young people put the sack, full of empty juiceboxes, in front of the entrance to the KGB building. The inscriptions on the sack read “material evidence”. At the same time other participants of the action draw “Stop terror!” on the pavement near the entrance to the KGB building.
“Though Alyaksandr Lukashenka assured the opposition wouldn’t be persecuted in the connection with the recent blasts, the repressions have tightened. Dozens of activists were searched, 13 people are detained, most of them are still behind the bars. These actions are so ridiculous because people are detained on grounds that juiceboxes and some screws are found during the search. After our action the KGB will have enough material evidence. Maybe, after that they will stop persecuting of oppositionists and turn hand to useful work...” a participants of the action commented on the event.
KGB officers took the sack away at once, but the inscription continues to decorate the pavement near the building.
