On December 17 “Young Belarus” activists Yahor Babrou and Paval Prakapovich were met near the entrance of the remand prison in Akrestsin Street by their friends.
Paval Prakapovich and Yahor Babrou were sentenced to an arrest for 15 days for a performance staged by “Young Belarus” activists on December 2, Radio Svaboda reminds.
On December 2 near “Belarus” department store young people set up a stand with a man with moustache painted on it. It was written under the caricature: “Throw an egg at me if you don’t like the regime”. Young activists placed a box with eggs near the stand. There were some persons who liked the idea, and some eggs were flung into the stand.
Reports were drawn up against all the activists of “Young Belarus”. They were charged with participation in an unsanctioned rally. Policemen detained Paval Prakapovich, Yahor Babrou, Nastassya Mashchava and Andrei Kuzminski.
The court of Zavadski district of Minsk sentenced Andrei Kuzminski to 7 days of arrest, and Nastassya Mashchava to a fine of 30 basic units.
