Bloggers imagine Belarus with utility bills non-payers on billboards (Photo)

Belarusian bloggers imagine how the city of Mahilou will look like if photos of utility bill non-payers appear on billboards.

An initiative of the Mahilou authorities to “decorate” the city with billboards depicting the people who do not pay utility bills provoked a wide discussion in the Belarusian blogosphere. Some bloggers were not satisfied with discussions and tries to model the city with photos of non-payers on billboards.

As the photo collage by blogger sfactor shows, Mahilou has every chance to find its new face.

“Taking into account that usually non-payers are people who do not have time for such trifles, I can imagine how Mahilou will be improved,” blogger sfactor says.

We remind that the Mahilou center of city information system is considering a new project aimed at recovering utility bills debts. It is planned to paste portraits of non-payers on the city’s outdoor advertising structures. The information systems center even made a clip warning about a possibility to appear on billboards.
