Belarusian human rights defenders are organizing a twenty-four-hour observation at 250 polling stations

As BelaPAN reports, campaign “For Fair Elections” which is held by more than ten democratic parties and unions, is intended to embrace 250 polling stations with twenty-four-hour observation.

One of the coordinators of the campaign Deputy Chairman of “For Freedom” movement Viktar Karneenka informed at the press conference in Minsk on October, 19, that four observers are planed to be directed at each of these polling stations. “If it will be need, we are ready to stay overnight at the doors of the polling stations”, — the politician said.

In total, the campaign “For Fair Elections” is intended to direct up to 1.600 observers at the polling stations, and also to nominate more than a thousand of its representatives to be a part of district electoral commissions.

“It is enough, to make a good analysis of the voting process and votes counting”, — Karneenka said.
