Dinamo Minsk fans pay tribute to Hitler’s deputy (Photo)

A loud scandal burst out over Dinamo (Minsk)–Vitsebsk football match, played on April 28 in the 6th round of the Belarusian championship.

As the newspaper “Pressball” reports Dinamo fans raised a banner dedicated to Rudolf Hess, Hitler’s deputy in the Nazi Party, sentenced to life at the Nuremberg Trials. The paper wonders: “How was the pro-Nazi banner taken to the stadium stand? Why didn’t the militia react to this?”

The answer is simple – the militia looked at other things, as usual. As people write in the guestbook on the website of Dinamo fans, the brave guards of order forbade to take the national court-of-arms Pahonya (Chase) to the stadium, but paid no attention to other banners.

It is possible that the law-enforcement bodies demonstrate some enthusiasm now and find authors of the scandalous banner. But … as user RockerR noted on the ”Pressball” website: “I don’t understand what is extremist in this banner. Lukashenka said he admires and respects Hitler’s internal policy in Germany. So what?”

Nothing. That is the reason why one can hold a banner with a portrait and lifetime of Rudolf Hess…
