Today a Homel public activist, a member of the United Civil Party Uladzimir Nyapomnyashchy is to visit the Central district police department.
A writ with a demand to come for documenting an administrative case was received by Nyapomnyashchy the day before. As the activist himself believes, the writ is most likely to be related to his T-shirt with the words “For Belarus without Lukashenka”. Because of this T-shirt Nyapomnyashchy, a retired officer, was detained by policemen from the police department of Central district on July 27, on Independence Day:
“They were finding faults with my T-shirt, where it was written “For Belarus without Lukashenka” and “We are fed up with him” on the back. I was taken to the police department number 2 in Savetski Street, 50. I was pictures from all sides, then the senior inspector of prevention work of the Central district police department of Homel Major Shukel wrote a report which text I do not know, and released me,” said in an interview to Radio Svaboda.
But less than two weeks after that, policemen summon the public activist to the police department again.
