Belarusian embassy in Brussels picketed (Photo)

Members of the Rada (Council) of the Belarusian Popluar Front and political refugees protested against beating an opposition activist Kastus Zhukouski in Belarus.

We remind that an activist of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party Kastus Zhukouski was beaten by unknown guards at the festival Call of Palesye. He was hospitalized with a brain concussion.

In the petition passed by the picketers to the Embassy of Belarus, it is stated: “We vigorously protest against systematic persecution of Belarusian patriots, which has become an official state policy, and we will do our best for such cases to have unavoidable political and economic consequences for the criminal grouping which illegally retains power in Belarus.”
