2-billion claim in case over arson of KGB building in Babruisk

The essence of the claim remains unknown.

We remind that on May 5, the Court of Babruisk and Babruisk district held the first trial in the case of arson of a local KGB building. Cases against three suspects, Yauheny Vaskovich, Artsyom Prakapenka, and Pavel Syramolatau, were considered.

Yauheny’s mother, Rushania Vaskovich, told Viasna website that the first trial was devoted to questioning of witnesses. According to her, it was talked about two billion Belarusian rubles that the guys must pay for their “intention to burn the KGB building”. However, article 218 (damage to property) was not mentioned during the trial.
