Confiscated computer returned only in five months

The Investigatory Committee returned the computer and USB-drives, which were confiscated on 17 July, to the editor of the independent web-site orsha.eu Igar Kazmerchak.

An expertise was set for the confiscated equipment. They did not make Kazmerchak familiar with its results, however he assumes that the experts confirmed that the Orsha editorial office has nothing to do with disseminating porn, the human rights center Viasna reports.
In the end they had to give the equipment back.
However, independent observers connected the pressure on the independent internet media with the electoral parliamentary campaign, because the web-site unlike the state-owned media reported about the activities of oppositional candidates.
