Meat to go up 35%, milk – 10%

The Ministry of Economy of Belarus increases prices of dairy products, bread and meat according to the ruling No. 41 of May 8, 2012.

Under the document, which takes force on May 17, ceiling sales prices for milk, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese, bread and bakery products rose 10%, pork and beef prices increased 35%.

Bread and dairy products prices are expected to be increased by two stages: by 5% in May and 5% in June.
