Zmitser Dashkevich has pneumonia in prison

The political prisoner has pneumonia in one lung caused by frequent transfers to punishment cells.

Anastasia Palazhanka and a lawyer visited Zmitser Dashkevich in prison today. As it was figured out, he was moved to the medical unit with pneumonia yesterday. The fiancée of the political prisoner thinks Zmitser got ill because he spends too much time in punishment cells.

“The scheduled medical check-up showed yesterday one of his lungs if affected with pneumonia. He was taken to hospital. Doctors say they have all necessary medicines. Zmitser says he received antibiotic injections and vitamins. He has no complaints. Zmitser is not a person to complain, but he looks bad,” Anastasia Palazhanka told charter97.org.

We remind the authorities uses everything to make Zmitser Dashkevich apply for a pardon. He is constantly thrown to punishment cells. A new criminal case was initiated against Zmitser for “failure to fulfill orders of the prison authorities”. The political prisoner was to be released on December 18, 2012, but if Dashkevich is found guilty in the new case, his prison term can be extended to one year.
