Lithuania confirms air intrusion into Belarus

Belarus's air space was really intruded on Wednesday, July 4, from the Lithuanian side.
The statement was made on Thursday by Skomantas Povilionis, a spokesman for Lithuania's armed forces,
“A violation of the rules of movement of aircrafts was recorded in Lithuanian air space,” ITAR-TASS quotes Povilionis.
According to him, an investigation over the incident was launched and details were being figured out. “We don't know if it is connected with the incident in Belarus mentioned in the media,” he said.
A Swedish plane was reported on early morning of July 4 to have dropped teddy bears with democratic slogans. The Ministry of Defence of Belarus denied the air space had been intruded and said the video on the Internet was fake.
