Action in Warsaw: Freedom to Belarusian political prisoners

Belarusians and Poles demanded to release the political prisoners in our country.

An action of solidarity took place today in the evening in the center of Poland’s capital. It was held in a lively place of Warsaw – near the St. Ana’s Cathedral in Krakowskie Przedmieście.

The leader of the European Belarus civic campaign Andrei Sannikau, the wives of Belarusian political prisoners Maryna Adamovich and Anastasija Dashkevich, a Member of European Parliament Marek Migalski, a coordinator of the European Belarus civic campaign Dzmitry Bandarenka, the editor-in-chief of the charter97.org web-site Natalla Radzina and others took part in the action.

The participants of the event held Belarusian national flags and also the portraits of Dzmitry Daskevich and Mikalai Statkevich. They demanded the release of all the 13 political prisoners.

The office of the MEP Marek Migalski was the organizer of the event.
