Manifestation’s participant beaten for “Freedom to Kola” banner

One of the participants of the procession, which took place today in Minsk, carried a banner with a demand to give freedom to Lukashenka’s youngest son.

It became known later that the person, who carried the banner – a United Civic Party activist Dzmitry Kavalhinwas detained and beaten by policemen at the intersection of Vera Kharuzhaja and Maksim Bahdanovich streets. Eight more people were detained after the action had ended.

It is known that the dictator’s youngest son Kola Lukashenka accompanies his father almost in all foreign trips. Due to that the public and doctors expressed concerns over the boy’s mental and physical health.
