Police stole flag from UCP headquarters

A national white-red-flag outside the party headquarters was stolen by officers of the Savetski district police department.

Anatol Lyabedzka, the leader of the United Civil Party (UCP), wrote it on his Facebook account.

The politician reminded that his colleagues noticed on March 26 that the flag outside the UCP headquarters on the 16th floor had disappeared.

“An investigation was carried out and the place of work of thieves was figured out. They are from Minsk's Savetski district police department. Evidence was obtained from our upstairs neighbours. People with police cards broke into their apartment in the early morning of March 26. They went to a balcony. Stealing our flag from there was a matter of technique,” Anatol Lyabedzka said.

The national flag was hung out on March 23, ahead of Freedom Day.
