Professor of Hrodna University Ihar Kuzminich resigned as a sign of protest against illegal persecution of scientists for their civil views.

In became known on April 4 that professor of Hrodna University Vyachaslau Shved was sacked from the position of the head of the department of Belarusian culture and regional tourism. He said that he considered this a political decision, the revenge for his newly published book "Hrodna. The History of a European City". Co-author of the book Andrei Charnyakevich was sacked before.
