Lanskaya makes it to Eurovision final

The Belarusian contender presented her song "Solayoh" at Malmö Arena on May 14.

Belarus' representative at the Eurovision song contest 2013 Alyona Lanskaya has made it to the final, together with Moldova, Lithuania, Ireland, Estonia, Denmark, Russia, Belgium, Ukraine, the Netherlands - they reached the final from the first of the two semi-finals.

Alyona Lanskaya emerged to the stage out of a giant glittery ball which symbolized the planet of happiness - Solayoh. She was wearing a dress decorated with thousands of sequins. Two dancers and three back-vocalists accompanied the lead singer on the stage - two Serbian girls and a guy from the South Africa.

Before the contest, bookmakers put Lanskaya down to the 15th place at first, and then to the 18th place in the overall standings. However, the Belarusian singer was ranked 6th in the semi-final where she performed.

The second semi-final will take place on May 16, the final - on May 18.
