Stadium chanting “Sumar must resign” in Brest

Football fans organised a protest action at the match between Dinamo Brest and Slavia.

Football players delayed the match for 10 minutes protesting against wage debts to Dinamo Brest players. Fans in the stands supported them and began to chant slogans demanding the resignation of Kanstantsin Sumar, the chairman of the Brest region executive committee.

No one was detained. Dinamo beat the Mozyr football club 1-0.

Players of Dinamo Brest have not received wages for the fourth month.

“The start of the season is marked by a negative financial situation. We have not received wages for four months. We have recently received only about three million rubles,” Dinamo's head coach Uladzimir Kurneu said some days ago.
