The tragedy near Vitebsk: huntsman dies in struggle with African swine fever

Wild boar got under liquidation in Senna district, Vitsebsk region, in the framework of struggle against the African swine fever virus.

Chief Veterinarian of the Senna district veterinary station Aleh Khadoryk has said this. Alongside with that, Vitsebsk Courier claims that shooting of wild boar is also happening in Lyozna, Vitsebsk, Dubrouna and Vorsha districts.

The newspaper also informs that a game manager of Babinavichy hunting and fishing economy died during the night hunting for wild boar in Senna district. One of the hunters accidentally shot him dead.
