Businessmen: Prakapovich knows nothing about business

The deputy prime minster's proposal for businessmen to import goods from China instead of Russia proves that he is incompetent in business.

Viachaslau Pilipuk, the deputy chair of the organisation Perspective, spoke to charter97.org about Piotr Prakapovich's proposal to import goods from China instead of Russia.

“In my opinion, Piotr Prakapovich doesn't know all details about small businessmen who buy goods in Russia. The statement shows his ignorance in business. Small businessmen cannot buy goods in China, because it has sense only if you buy huge lots of goods,” said one of the leaders of the small business movement.

He adds that most market vendors buy small lots of goods.

“Small businessmen don't have money. They had no opportunities in the recent years to accumulate enough money to work directly with factories in China and Turkey. The country's economic situation doesn't allow small businessmen to earn enough. Our expenses include rent payments (which increased significantly), taxes and buying goods. Piotr Prakapovich, who occupies numerous posts, should understand one simple thing – to solve problems of small businessmen you must meet with them, think and discuss problems together,” Viachaslau Pilipuk says.

We remind that the Belarusian deputy PM proposes small businessmen to stop importing goods from Russia and switch to China.
