Entrepreneur will be put on trial for white-red-white flag

An activist of the entrepreneurs movement Ilia Dabratvor was detained in Minsk.

For what the charter97.org web-site has learnt, on Friday 30 August he was riding a metro with an unwrapped white-red-white flag. This is how the activist welcomed the release of the Young Front leader Dzmitry Dashkievich. At Uruchcha metro station Ilia Dabratvor was detained by policemen.

Now the entrepreneur is in jail in Akrestsina Street. He will be put on trial on Monday. It is yet unknown what Ilia Dabratvor is accused of.

Two weeks ago the activist claimed that pressure was put on him on the part of the management of Kapsch company, where he worked. Earlier he had been deprived of the individual entrepreneur status.

Ilia Dabratvor is an activist of the Razam movement (Czech Republic). He was a candidate in municipal election in Minsk rural district number 76 in 2012 and publicly revealed the facts of falsifications and electoral fraud. He was fined and arrested for participating opposition’s event.
