An oppositionist Jury Rubcou was fired for political reasons.
The activist informed the charter97.org web-site about that.
“I worked as a driver at a private enterprise “Center for Construction and Repairs”, but I was fired. Not actually fired, but suggested to do that. And I, in order not to set other people up, appealed for quitting. It is quite possible that pressure was put on my boss on the part of special services or someone else”, - he said.
We would remind that the trade union activist Jury Rubcou was detained on 3 November 2013 in Minsk right after the end of the procession to Kurapaty. The reason for the detention was the refusal to take off the T-shirt with a print saying “Lukashenka, go away”. On the next day the court of Minsk Soviet district sentenced the activist to three days in jail.
