Brent Hits Below $83

December futures for Brent crude on the London Stock Exchange are now trading below $83 per barrel.

The oil fell by nearly a dollar on New York trading - down to $80.83.

Experts note that prices are falling in anticipation of information on energy reserves in the United States. Such data is expected to be published today by the American Department of Energy.
